Since I was brought up in an Indian household, food means everything to me. Beautiful aromas, brilliant colors, and, above all, good flavors were a significant part of my life. I grew up watching my mom cook and helping her in the kitchen with traditional Indian food. I basically just enjoyed the experience. What I did not know was that this love for food was eventually going to turn me into a vlogger.

 Where It All Began

I badly missed tasteful Indian home-cooked food when I went to college. It got me into trying out recipes by following my mom's instructions over the phone. Much to my surprise, I could replicate those tastes in a very small kitchen in my college apartment.

My friends just loved the Indian food I made, and they kept asking for recipes. That's when the idea really came to me of filming myself cooking. With just a basic camera, I nervously recorded my first cooking video and uploaded it onto YouTube.

 Finding My Groove

The first videos were definitely learning experiences, such as the development of food styling, figuring out good lighting, editing videos, being comfortable on the camera—all that. Well, the viewers responded positively to my very simple and real approach toward cooking Indian food.

As my channel grew, so did the really awesome community that came along with it. People from all over the world started to share in this flavorful journey and dropped their very own food stories and traditions. Their comments and support motivated me to keep exploring the amazing diversity of Indian cuisine.

Celebrating Indian Food Culture

From aromatic biryanis to spicy curries, and crunchy chaat items to creamy sweets—my vlogs showcased the variations in Indian food. I delved deep into the history and culture underlying each dish.

I was really lucky to collaborate with some superbly talented Indian chefs, home cooks, and food experts who shared so much with me about intricate techniques, spices, and age-old recipes that truly make for the magic of Indian food.

Connected by Food

With the increasing popularity of my channel, the role that food played in binding cultures came as a surprise to me. Indian cuisine unearthed various flavors from this country's regions and used them to forge a savory bridge that bonded viewers across borders.

Be it the first-timers while having dosa or a family who had tandoori chicken, my vlogs gave an opportunity for one to be more aware of the rich culture that India possesses through its different but mouth-watering foods.

Quite a journey, and honestly, I feel grateful that the love for Indian food dragged me—really yanked me—into being a vlogger. What began as a means to recreate Mom's recipes had transformed into the world stage in celebration of India's amazing culinary heritage.

With every vlog, I wish to take the viewers on a flavor-filled adventure—let them feel the aromas, textures, and authentic tastes that make Indian cuisine so special.

If you're an Indian foodie missing home flavors or are just a curious food-lover, join me! My vlogs are absolutely all about sharing awesome stories, traditions, and lip-smacking deliciousness of the dishes I grew up relishing.
